If you’re a fan of the horror-survival genre, Requiem for Erich Sann is an even more atmospheric alternative due to its first-person perspective, making it even more immersive.Although you have been told that everyone that gets in the dark school and tries to steal the violin never goes out, you decide to listen that violin from our neighbor even closer and get it. However, it certainly appears that the emphasis is on the cerebral aspects of logic and patience. That said, the ominous atmosphere created within the game makes us feel that at some point, we’re bound to come face to face with danger. This keeps the game interesting as you’re not simply working towards a known endpoint.Īt the moment, there’s no indication that this will ever be a game that’s full of action, although based on current updates, it’s impossible to predict. Still Ridge appears to have an interesting storyline, and from what we’ve seen from this demo, it unfolds quite naturally. Navigate to where the game files were saved when you installed them and move them to the Recycle Bin. Right-clicking enables you to inspect objects more closely, which can reveal how to use them to your advantage. Left-click in the direction that you want your character to move and to interact with the objects you find along the way. You’ll have to explore while using your lateral thinking to use the objects around you to progress. Without giving too much away, imagine the combination of an unmapped town, a serial killer and a therapist who can travel within and between his clients’ troubled dreams.īecause you’re in other people’s dreams, there’s no roadmap to lead you through them.
